Can you conquer London?
Have you got what it takes to tackle the UK’s greatest mass participation challenge? Are you strong enough to conquer London? Do you want to own one of the best pieces of bling ever?!
London Marathon Events has brought together the best marathon in the world, the world’s greatest cycling festival and the inspirational open-water swimming event, Children with Cancer UK Swim Serpentine, to create the London Classics, one of the world’s great sporting challenges.
To complete the challenge you are required to run the Virgin Money London Marathon, cycle 100 miles in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 and swim two miles at Children with Cancer UK Swim Serpentine.
If you complete this iconic trio of events you will receive a specially designed and much-coveted London Classics medal engraved with the Latin words: Et ego Londinium vici (‘I too have conquered London’) and will be listed in the London Classics Hall of Fame.
How do I qualify for the London Classics?
To be awarded a London Classics medal, you must finish all three classics events:
- The London Marathon
- The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100
- The Children with Cancer UK Swim Serpentine two-mile swim.
There is no time limit on when these are completed and they can be done in any order.
