Welcome to the Virgin Money London Marathon ballot page, where you’ll find everything you need to know about entering the ballot for the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon, which takes place on Sunday 3 October 2021.
The public ballot for the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon will open to all on Sunday 4 October 2020, the day of this year’s event.
The ballot will remain open for six days to give everyone who would like to enter the event a fair chance to do so. The 2021 ballot will close at 17:00 on Friday 9 October 2020.
The 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place on Sunday 3 October 2021.
The 2021 ballot results will be announced in early January 2021.

Good For Age Entry
If you've already run a full marathon in a particularly fast time, you might qualify for a 'Good For Age' entry into the Virgin Money London Marathon.
British Athletics Club Entry
Athletics clubs associated with British Athletics can apply for club entries into the Virgin Money London Marathon.
