Applications for 2021 for runners who did not have a place in 2020 and did not take part in the virtual event
If you do not have a Championship place from the 2020 process, and you didn’t taking part in the virtual event on 4 October 2020, you may still apply for a Championship place in the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon.

Confirmation of your place will be sent to you by Friday 29 January 2021.
Your qualifying performance for a marathon (or half marathon) must be from 18 January 2019 to 31 December 2020. You will need to provide evidence of a qualifying performance as detailed in Table 2 below.

Additionally, you must be registered with your National Governing Body (ie England Athletics, Scotland Athletics, Welsh Athletics, Athletics Northern Ireland) otherwise we will not be able to accept your application. If you are unsure whether or not you are registered, please check with your National Governing Body.
All runners in the Championship start zone must wear their club vest.
