Physio on the River has been an established clinic in Barnes, south west London for over 22 years. We are a one stop clinic for the treatment of pain and injury – and in particular running injuries. We are situated by the river Thames where runners frequently run the loop of bridges as well as using Richmond Park as a training ground for the marathon. Our team of Physiotherapists are experienced in lower limb injuries and biomechanics. We also offer sports massage to help get your muscles in good condition for events and to help recovery following the marathon. Our Podiatrist can help sort out any biomechanical problems that may arise due to altered foot posture and he can advise on footwear. We have a personal trainer for all your strength and conditioning needs. We offer Pilates and Yoga classes and private tuition to address core strength and flexibility. Most importantly we care about you doing well and reaching your goals! Do give us a call if you would like to chat things through.

With clinics in Notting Hill Gate, and Shepherds Bush, London, we can help you address any injuries quickly and effectively. We use our high level assessment skills, including video analysis and EMG biofeedback to diagnose the injury and get you running again. We give you effective hands-on treatment and the right exercise advice to get rid of your injury and keep you running. Prevention is better than a cure - we have a Runners Screening service to pick up potential sources of injury - such as imbalances or weaknesses - which can cause injury as your mileage increases. Not sure if you need physio? Just ask us - call us for a free phone consultation, or fill in the 'Ask A Physio' box on our home page.
