The Vitality Big Half

The Vitality Big Half is a one day festival centred around the half marathon distance which took place for the first time in March 2018. The event is a truly global and uniquely local celebration of the wonderful cultural diversity of the great city of London. The Vitality Big Half is a sports event for all Londoners which aims to inspire entries from participants from all backgrounds so that the event mirrors the diverse demographics of London’s multi-cultural population.
Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon
Date: Sunday 26 April 2020
The Virgin Money Giving Mini London Marathon is the official British Athletics three-mile road championships for young athletes aged between 11 and 17. If you're looking for a challenge, the event is your chance to compete against the best new talent in British road running. The three-mile course stretches from London's Old Billingsgate to The Mall and the race is open to entrants from the nine regions of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, and teams from all 33 London Boroughs.
Vitality Westminster Mile

The Westminster Mile is held on the most iconic mile in the world, starting on The Mall and finishing in front of Buckingham Palace. Organised by the London Marathon, in partnership with Westminster City Council, there are categories for all ages and abilities, to ensure that everyone, no matter what age or ability, can take part in this fun family-friendly series of mile races.
Vitality London 10,000
Date: Monday 25 May 2020
The London 10,000 is a fast, flat 10K race that takes in many of London’s most iconic landmarks. The race starts on The Mall and follows a clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London, Admiralty Arch, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Bank of England, Leadenhall Market, the London Eye, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey before finishing on Spur Road in front of Buckingham Palace.
Standard Chartered Great City Race
Date: Tuesday 21 July 2020
The Standard Chartered Great City Race is a unique 5K corporate running challenge that takes place around the closed roads of the City of London. In 2015 almost 5,000 runners from 350 different companies took part in the event, many raising money for the official race charity Seeing is Believing, which is an initiative to help tackle avoidable blindness around the world. All funds raised will be matched by Standard Chartered pound for pound.
Prudential RideLondon
Date: 15-16 August 2020
Prudential RideLondon is a world-class festival of cycling. Taking a cue from the London Marathon, amateur cyclists participate in 100-mile and 46-mile sportives on closed roads in London and Surrey. Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle offers a free family ride in central London while you can also enjoy watching the world’s best professional cyclists race in the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic and Prudential RideLondon Classique.
Children with Cancer UK Swim Serpentine
Date: Saturday 19 September 2020
Swim Serpentine is an open water swimming festival staged in the heart of London. The festival is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The event offers participants the opportunity to choose from half-mile, one-mile and two-mile distances, or go for the big one and sign up for the 'Super Six' event.
