We will again be holding a charity ballot for the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon. The charity ballot is open to charities who are registered in England, Wales, Scotland and/or Northern Ireland, and gives them a chance to secure one guaranteed place into that year’s Virgin Money London Marathon.
Charities are not able to enter the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon charity ballot if:
- The charity currently holds a Virgin Money London Marathon Golden Bond
- The charity holds a Silver Bond place for the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon
- The charity was successful in gaining a place through the charity ballot for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon
Charities should not make multiple applications.
To enter the charity ballot you must click here and make an application. The deadline to make an application is 17:00 on Friday 2 June 2017. Late entries will not be accepted. A random draw will be done after the closing date and 500 charities will be offered one place into the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon. If successful, a charity place will cost each charity £330 plus VAT.
All charities will be informed of the outcome of their charity ballot application by Wednesday 7 June 2017 via email. The successful charities will be sent a 'charity ballot' form with the Terms and Conditions and cost of the charity bond place, which they must complete and return by 17:00 on Friday 23 June 2017.
If you have not received your charity’s ballot outcome by close of play Thursday 8 June, please contact us directly on email@example.com
