2021 Charity of the Year
Virgin Money invites applications for 2021 London Marathon Charity of the Year
Virgin Money is inviting charities to apply to be the official charity of the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon.
Virgin Money wants to hear from charities working on ambitious projects or initiatives that will make a lasting difference in the areas where help is needed most. The term for the appointed charity runs for 12 months, from May 2020 until April 2021.
Interested charities should visit the Virgin Money Giving website to find out more and download an application form.
More than £955m has been raised for charity through the event since it was first held in 1981, setting a world record for fundraising for an annual one-day event every year since 2007. In 2019, at the 39th London Marathon, fundraising will pass the £1bn mark.
The closing date for applications is 15 March 2019.
