This guide includes:
- 24 week day-by-day training plan (8 week lead in plan followed by a 16 week training plan)
- Your first full marathon – 27 page essential guide
- Warming up, cooling down and stretching
- How to avoid running injuries
- ‘Fuel for fitness’ nutrition guide
Plus there’s the book ‘How to run a marathon’, written by qualified fitness trainer Tim Rogers. This book is great for runners of all abilities, and includes a foreword from the Virgin London Marathon Race Director David Bedford.
