Poole Athletic Club is offers a wide range of running and athletic activities for all ages and abilities from 8 to 70+. Poole AC is a progressive Club and is the first Club in Dorset to receive the Sport England ClubMark award for the quality of its coaching and backup. Poole AC is one the oldest clubs within Dorset and we are also one of the largest running clubs in Dorset with over 300 active members within the Club. Our coaches are CRB checked and all are experienced and qualified with UK Athletics, meaning that we are able to offer structured training which members from other clubs come to take advantage of. We also compete in a number of race leagues. Our Road Running group meets twice a week at the Ashdown Leisure Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we particularly welcome “beginners” and those looking for their first club.
